Let’s Talk

Your project starts with a quick, no-pressure consultation call. We’ll talk through your goals, timeline, and budget to see if we’re a good fit. If things align, we’ll walk you through what to expect in our Concept Design phase. If not, we’ll still do our best to provide value—whether that’s general cost guidance or a referral to someone we trust. Our goal is to make sure you’re on the right path, even if we’re not the right builder for the job.

Step 2

Concept Design

This is where your ideas start to take shape. We’ll create a space plan tailored to your home and your goals, along with a realistic, transparent budget so you can plan with clarity and confidence. You’ll also receive a conceptual construction schedule so you can start thinking about how the project fits into your day-to-day life. There’s still room to adjust the design, make changes, and fine-tune the balance between style, functionality, and cost. With over 20 years of experience behind us, we’ll guide you through the decision-making process and help you explore the best options for your space.

Step 3

Project Planning

Once the design is approved, it’s time to dial in the details. You’ll meet with our in-house interior designer to finalize finishes and product selections so everything’s ready for construction. We’ll complete detailed construction drawings—including any structural or foundation engineering—and handle the permit and approval process with your municipality. You'll also receive a full job schedule outlining every phase of construction, so you’ll know exactly what to expect and when. With everything locked in ahead of time, you’ll feel confident going into the build.

Step 4

Construction

This is where your vision starts to come to life. Before construction begins, we’ll provide a Customer Handbook that lays out everything you need to know about how the process works. You’ll also have access to a client portal where you can view schedules, progress photos, communications, and payments all in one place. Throughout the build, your dedicated Project Manager will meet with you at key moments—from electrical layout to final walkthrough—to make sure we stay aligned every step of the way. You’ll always know what’s happening, and why.

Step 5

Post-Construction Support

Just because the project is done doesn’t mean we’re gone. We provide a full 12-month warranty and continued support to help you settle into your new space with confidence. If anything comes up, we’re just a phone call or message away—and always happy to help.

How Long Does It Take to Renovate a Basement?

Most basement projects take between 6 to 9 months, depending on the scope of work. Finishing a basement into a simple open living space is on the shorter end of that range. More involved projects—like adding a guest suite with a full bathroom and kitchenette—take longer due to added plumbing, electrical, and layout changes.
