Built nearly a century ago, this house is more than just bricks and mortar—it’s a piece of the neighborhood’s history. Our mission? The Journey So Far
Our renovation journey began with a focus on preserving the charm of the original structure, while incorporating the latest in design and technology.
1. Foundation & Demolition: The first step was a significant one. We completely gutted the basement, which featured ceilings as low as 5’6″. By addressing the foundation and demolishing outdated structures, we laid the groundwork for a safer, more functional home.
2. Framing & Structural Enhancements: Raising the ceiling height was a critical part of our vision. We’ve meticulously framed new structural elements to support a more open, airy layout that respects the original architecture.
3. Electrical & Plumbing Overhaul: Bringing a nearly 100-year-old home up to modern standards requires careful planning and execution. We’ve installed all-new electrical systems, plumbing, and state-of-the-art HVAC to ensure the home is not only beautiful but also highly functional and efficient.
4. Exterior & Windows: A key aspect of the renovation is enhancing the home’s exterior. We’ve added a new entrance and expanded the windows, allowing natural light to flood the interior spaces. These changes not only improve the home’s curb appeal but also create a more welcoming and comfortable living environment.
5. Finishes Installation: Now, we’re focusing on the details that truly make a house a home. This includes the installation of premium finishes like an 11′ x 5′ curbless walk-in shower, an oversized Master Bedroom, and contemporary fixtures that blend seamlessly with the home’s historic character.
